-Covenant Community Foundation-
Founded on the principles of compassion and community, Covenant Community Foundation was established by Robert and Summer who are deeply rooted in Yadkin County, North Carolina. With firsthand experience as foster parents, they recognized the pressing needs of foster families and those facing food insecurity. Their vision is to create a supportive network that not only provides essential resources but also fosters a sense of belonging and hope.
Our Programs
Foster Closet
Providing Essentials for Foster Families
The Foster Closet is a cornerstone of our commitment to foster families. We understand that welcoming a foster child into your home often comes with immediate and unexpected needs.
Our Foster Closet alleviates this burden by providing:
Clothing: New and gently used clothing for children of all ages and sizes.
Backpacks and School Supplies: Essentials to help children thrive academically from day one.
Personal Care Items: Hygiene products, diapers, and other necessities to ensure comfort and well-being.
How It Works:
Access: Foster families can visit our Foster Closet by appointment to select items that meet their immediate needs.
Donations: We accept contributions of new or gently used items from community members and partner organizations.
Volunteering: Community volunteers assist in organizing donations and helping families during their visits.
Impact:
By providing these essentials, we help foster children feel welcomed and valued, easing their transition into a new home and supporting foster parents in their vital role.
